She wears a long servicable coat with an oiled leather coif about her shoulders: ready for any weather. Gwin carries a walking-stick. She smells of garlic, herbs, wet wool and rain. In her bag are mostly books, and they're mostly written in her own hand. |

Background
Gwin has spent years caring for her aged aunt, acting as her eyes and hands as the old woman was without her sight. She'd grown used to not really thinking of herself, and putting her dreams aside to cope with the business of survival.
Now, with her duty finally filled and without an aunt, Gwin is at liberty to pursue a path of her own choosing. As she chases personal accounts of the feats of her tribe, a bride to history, she finds herself out in the open and drawn into an adventure of her own.
