Emaline was born into a farming family, which means that even from a young age she has been familiar with hard graft and tough times. She's always had to work hard for the things she has and doesn't trust when something comes too easily. 

Though a friendly enough girl, she's hesitant to give away her own inner thoughts and desires. She'll help anyone in whatever way she can, but most often prefers to spend her time alone. Often she can be found wandering in the green spaces and forests near to her home, her hair tucked inside her shirt and a cheaply-made bow in her hand. 

Considering herself plain and a tad abnormal she has little to no interest in getting married or partaking in other things considered right and normal for 'proper' girls to occupy their time with. Although she's very careful not to stir any rumors or cause any trouble for those around her with it, there are few things Emaline enjoys more than exploring the countryside and honing her skills with a bow and arrow.
