A Letter From And To Master Maurr

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Maurr son of Bóurr to Miss Taite Rushwood greeting!

Returned we are from Thorin’s Hall at long last, my honor-sister’s wedding complete. Forgive me for taking so long to contact you; I thought that after that business was over we would pass a relaxed winter and spring, but one thing has followed upon the other, and very busy we have turned out indeed.

Giving up a dream

Felt like things been going good, real good, with Missus Nettle lately. While there's still studyin' from the book, and I still struggle with the readin' and memorificatin' what's in it, now we come into spring more of the work is hands-on, or what Nettle calls 'practical'. And I always do better with that than I do with the talkin' and the tests.

Baraque to Reality

What a lovely day. What a lovely day, indeed, Furley mused, as he looked at the fountain outside the Prancing Pony. Truth be told, he'd felt rather pleased with himself. He'd managed to contact Deorla, and together they'd hatched out a plan. He was tired of them being threatened and hunted, and now, something had snapped in him.

Tom sat alone on a low stone wall outside of his family home. A shiver crept up his spine as he regretted not wearing his cloak, hunching his shoulders forward and clutching his hands at his chest whilst he looked up to the night sky and settle his eyes on the pale moon. "The moon's large tonight." The young man thought to himself as a cloud of ale tinged breath curled out from between his lips and escaped into the cold air.

((sloppily penned in Lumi-kieli))

It is probably not wise to be writing tonight. But I sit alone while everyone else is gathered in groups, in couples, and the calm I have gained came at a great price. If I watch everyone else being together while I am alone for too long and do nothing else, I may feel a need to shatter another plate. Of course the plate I shattered before had his barely-touched pie on it. Shattering some other plate that had nothing to do with him would probably not be as satisfying.

Dear Mama and Papa,

Questioning Beliefs

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The Lady rose from her bed at dawn the birds of early Spring chirping outside her window.  She groggily put her robe on to cover herself. Then peered over at the sleeping form that was keeping her warm throughout the night. Lycaon was a new face in her life and she couldn't even begin to predict what the future held for both of them. Why did she give herself to him? Could he really bear his heart and soul to her? Or was this just another dance? On the surface, he seemed kind, gentle, mild-mannered, and fun-loving.

A Bad Hair Night

Twist. Pile. Fasten. It was simple, putting her hair back into the bun she always wore. At least, it was supposed to be simple. Most times, Daphne could put her long hair up while walking even! But not so, this night.
