We Will Be The Better

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The cold winds of the Misty Mountains whip around the small camp with a howl and a hiss. Although the company is braced against the face of a cliff in an attempt to protect themselves from the howling chill, it does little to warm them once night falls and the stone they sleep upon turns frigid. Tucked away beneath an overhang, apart from the rest of the group, sit a pair of elves huddling together for what little warmth to be found.

Ristiinnä's husky sled-dog companion had been called Koira, which just means Dog, since she didn't know the proper name and felt like it would be disrespectful to give her a new one. But Cesistya asked the dog for her name, and she chose "the one who steadfastly watches over others", which was translated into Sindarin as Varyindë, or into the Lumi-kieli (here depicted as Finnish) as Suojelija.

Seventh Letter to Rohan

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

This letter is written in neat handwriting, even though the rows are never evenly distributed along the piece of paper. There is an ink stain between the second and third paragraphs. It seems to be the seventh in a series of letters.

Chapter Two: At Felegoth

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The scrape of metal against the stone floors of Felegoth leaves a shrieking sound in its wake. It draws the attention of all those who watch the sorrowful march of the younger sister through the halls. The rhythmic clink of the steel against the steps is the beat to which she sets her footfalls, trudging through the long halls of wood, and stone, and eyes that look on in silent pity. Pitiable is she that walks alone now.

The mountain's cold

It has been two days since the events that took place down in Eregion. Ryheric has been taken by the purple robes and his army of orcs. Their trail led Atharann into the passes of Red horn and beyond into the mountains. Ever more through cold and storm he moved as he followed the band deep into the mountains. Spring had arrived down in the valley's and lands beyond that. But the Misty Mountains are unforgiving and cold. He knew how to stay warm, due to his years in Forochel, but without his normal winter gear it had become more challenging to move ever further on.

Torry watched Millaray Boggs on her pony trot up to him and Constable Tanglerush. The hobbit rider was dressed in red Watch armor with her pony adorned in Watch livery. Reining up before the two, Millaray saluted the Constable without dismounting, and announced, “Watcher Boggs reporting as ordered.” The hobbit Watcher held a confident but respectful demeanor and the Constable returned the official salute, but then smiled and said warmly, “Good morning Millie. How are you and Gammy today?”.
