A Disturbing Night II

Following on from Part 1

Khalis stirred in the night, his eyes immediately focussing on the open window in his room which looked out upon the Bruinen. As his eyes roamed the scene through the window he was sure he could see something almost imperceptible, but his thought could not put words to what he believed he was seeing. Shaking his head he poured himself a cup of cold water from the jug at his night stand and sipped, relishing the cool water as it slid down his throat.

Moving then to the desk his sat down and tried to organise the malign thoughts that had awoken him as suggested by Elisbeth. He saw fleeting images which he tried to focus on to add definition but it was proving very difficult as always.

A face….......defined….....pale….....a womanly face……...a scar upon the palm of a hand…....…the eyes, the bright vivid eyes pleading……...... and then the scream...........…the scream always came…............blackness.

He needed to find someone who could perhaps make sense of it, but who/where would he find such a person?
