The Dwarves of Durin's Folk meet with Erthera to confront her about rumours regarding her involvement in the Company of the East Road. Apparently the former leader of this company was in league with Sauron. Erthera insists that she had no part in such dealings and that she only remains in the company in hopes of reforming it. In the end the Dwarves of Durin's Folk ask Erthera to take an oath to ensure that they can trust her.
