As the Dwarves of Durin's Folk travel to Othrikar on a mining expedition, they get stuck in Trestlebridge as the guards aren't letting anyone leave because of the danger of increased orc raids. The Dwarves are generously offered free ale as compensation for their troubles. But much to their dismay when they look for the tavern they discover it has been burned down.
