Master Foxtail
I am pleased to inform you that my investigations into the current location of the Sandhill family have gone well. After asking several locals I was given an address on the north-west corner of the village. However upon calling on the residence it would appear that the only member of the Sandhill family living there was an elderly Hobbit whose maiden name had been Sandhill.
It would appear that the Sandhill family originated from the village of Oatbarton and Dwaling and she reliably informed me that a few members of the Sandhill family still reside there.
It is my intention to travel north to Oatbarton and try to locate the family at the earliest opportunity.

PS. There has been talk of Goblins on the road to the north, mostly from drunken farmers but I shall travel by daylight just to be on the safe side.
