Banner of the Mark
Leoffrith's mother Lithwyn was known throughout the Westfold for her skill at weaving. (In fact, though he doesn't know it, that's part of how he ended up sent over the edge of the Wild, when she was called on to weave a tapestry for the Thane.) While some of her weavings were elaborate artistic creations, many were more iconic banners and images like this one, seen in the halls of many Thanes and Reeves of the Mark, perhaps even in the Golden Hall. And not only in such places; Lithwyn had made a small weaving of this image as a young woman, in simple black and white coarse wool, which hung in her home her whole life.
Drawn with Tombow calligraphy pen on Canson mixed media sketchbook. See the full-sized version and the reference image.
