Log 4: Entry 17

Master Maurr
Miss Winkle
Miss Sparrow
Miss Rushwood
Mister Leoffrith
Miss
Ollena
Miss Carria
Miss Sera

I believe that's the name of all those I met that evening. The memory of it has become mostly a blur of voices and faces.
When I headed out to the town, I met master Maurr. We spoke for a short while and he accompanied me to the town. If I recall correctly, he is or was a patient of master
Maddoct. Once we arrived, he departed from the company soon after to speak with another. We met miss Winkle and miss Sparrow at the tavern.
I stepped aside to find a seat after getting a drink for myself, as well as one for him. The two joined me shortly after. There
was talk of history and treasure and miss Sparrow left soon after to find new company. I can only hope that miss Winkle wasn't upset. She does seem to enjoy meeting new people and making friends with all she finds. I may have been dull company for the woman, as I have little knowledge or interest in history or treasures.

The tavern just kept getting louder as the evening progressed. I remember ending up in the backrooms with miss Winkle, Rushwood and Ollena, along with a man by the name of mister Leoffrith. There was some talk of horses between them, another topic I care very little for.
Miss Carria asked to speak with me, and I stepped aside to do so. When I returned, all but miss Winkle and Ollena had gone. I saw that miss Sera had arrived as well, seeking the woman I had been talking to. Her mother seems well.

Miss Winkle offered to walk with me back to the Soothery, but I was stopped when I happened upon Ruevir. She seemed surprised to see me, more so when she thought my hair had been cut short.
She's not well, and there's fear in her that I have gotten to know well in the past few weeks. I believe that she's upset with me after our exchange, I've not been able to talk to her further. Think I've I might have upset the Hobbit as well.

I may have forgotten to notify miss Winkle when I left. I also forgot to buy the dinner that I was meant to, finding no time to honour his memory, as was the point of it all. There were many things I was meant to do, but the routine of the day was interrupted by people. He would have enjoyed their company, that I'm sure of.

Am I supposed to try to celebrate this day again to complete it or am I meant to wait until next year to try again? This hasn't happened before.
