Been getting complaints about the shifty-looking lass hanging about again.
Mister Leafcutter says she stands just outside his smithy about once a day, usually at dusk. Keeps herself in the shadows behind a post and just watches the houses across the way.
Miss Bywood, the spinster woman above the tailor's shop, thinks she heard some conversation about hiring someone for a murder. Says it wasn't the girl speaking, but a man, and when she looked out her window, two figures were hurrying away in opposite directions along the street.
I've run across the lass before myself, and so far, she hasn't done harm to anyone or anything. I've never heard her speak, so maybe she's just not quite right upstairs.
