A vision of a stable

Leoffrith imagines the small stable he hopes to build for Middleham. Ten stalls, five on each side, then two larger rooms: one a tack workshop, the other an open space to curry, treat, and examine horses. The rear door opens into a fenced-in pen for exercise, breeding, foaling, and training. Should the settlement grow, ten more stalls are added onto the back by simply extending the same walls farther out.
