In Heavy Loss their Hosts did Pay
Across the Limlight, into Calenardhon
With Ferocity He Hunted ‘til they All were Gone
In Payment then, for Their Lives did He Save
The land of Calenardhon Cirion Gave
In Thanks to the Wisest, an Oath was Made
If Peril Arose, They’d Ride to their Aid
Rohan They named it, the Mark in Their Tongue
