Journal Entry 10 : The Barrow Downs Expedition, Day I

The Barrow Downs Expedition, Day I.

I am looking forward to the journey, though if the tales the men have been telling hold any truth, maybe I shouldn't be.

Apparently the Barrow Downs is a place of great history, with many pieces of lore to be unearthed. The main purpose of this expedition is of historical value, to learn of the past and to carefully take any lost relics for preservation...though I suspect some are here just for the treasure.

I am to accompany the expedition as a guard, and Kirseth as a scout. They must expect trouble if they are in want of a guard.

We are to trek west, crossing The Greenway and taking The Great East Road and make camp along the southern fields of Bree-land. A fairly simple route, which should not provide too much trouble.

From there, we journey onwards and make camp again at the Northern-Barrows Pass. At dawn, we make for Barrow Downs, cutting across towards the border of The Old Forest where we make a forward base camp from which we are to operate from.

We are making preparations to leave as I write. We will be leaving shortly.
