Turemmar
Elloen of Eregion and Ráolor of Lothlann conversing.
After the unveiling of the portrait of Lord Anglachelm, a widely renowned success, Elloen the painter had visited the sculptor in his little atelier in Imlad Gelair.
The two Noldor spoke of many things: of painting, sculpting and elven arts in general, about the mission of an artist. They spoke about Beleriand and fair Eregion, and about the Sons of Fëanor.
In the evening, under the stars rising over Imladris, Ráolor offered Elloen to meet a challenge:
The painter had to glance upon a nearby pillar just for an instant, and depict the tall object on a parchment, with all details. He had also to correlate the picture somehow to the stars above them.
Elloen accepted the challenge, and immediately began his work.

After the painter had left, Ráolor was looking at the parchment for a long time.
Elloen had not only mastered the challenge but had given the sketch to the sculptor, as a gift.
Within the blink of an eye, he had perceived all the details, depicting the pillar with its ornaments and entangling plants with great accuracy, technique and skill.
Surprisingly enough, the positioning of the blossoms on the sketch matched perfectly with the Remmirath, a constellation of stars that was well known by all Eldar.
This Noldo was not only painting - he spoke with immages!
"I shall call you Turemmar, Master of Pictures" the sculptor said, in awe and delight.
