The man clad in green took two steps back and looked around carefully, before fixing his gaze on the red cloaked man that had just killed his companion. “You can’t escape Dunadan.” Said the Angmarim and made a step ahead, getting a little closer, holding his sword in his right hand and the man’s that he just killed in the left. The ranger narrowed his eyes and made a step towards him again and swung his sword towards him, trying to slash the Angmarim, from left shoulder to right side. The man was quick and blocked the ranger’s sword with the left one and punched his face with the cross guard of the right. The Dunadan staggered back and the Angmarim managed to land another blow, this time on the left temple, leaving the man dizzy and ready to kneel from the pain.
“You’re dying little man… Your kin is dying.” Whispered the Angmarim and stabbed the ranger, he pierced his right shoulder with the dead man’s sword and reached as deeper as he could, the hilt reaching the man’s head. The ranger dropped dead and the Angmarim wiped his blood off his sword using the dead man’s cloak and turned to look ahead, deep into the North Downs. A horse neighing caught his attention and the man turned to see a horse that he knew running into Evendim as fast as he could.
“Something has happened…” he thought and sheathed his sword, he kept his gaze on the horse until it disappeared in the distance and turned to his own, just before he let it go a raven landed on its back, with a note tied on its left foot. The man read the note and responded quickly before sending the raven back, “Something has happened, I’m going to the North Downs, tell the robbers to change their course.” Once the raven flew away the man made his way towards Fornost, to his usual camping spot.
