A Guide to Obtaining and Keeping Power: Chapter Six

Chapter Six

 ON THE TOPIC OF CONCEPT

As one should now understand, power is a reality, but it must be understood through concept. All men wish to follow that which alike to them, and that which is a mirrored image of their perception of reality. Thus, in order to maintain one's power, as a reality, one must remain entirely conceptual. Change is seen by all as foul, and thus change must be hidden; only through acting in such a way, that one is able to alter his own perception, may one succeed in swaying both the opinion of the public, and the opinion of rivals. One must never allow others to see that which is not projected, for a projection is the greatest shield against an enemy, and the reality is the greatest weapon.
Reality must be used against others, while conceptuality, and falsehood in thought, must be used for one's self.

The public will ever-wish for a leader whom matches their views of that which is good, and therefore the ambitious must remain figures that are perceived in such a way. I put forth to you: in order to succeed in the realm of power, one must understand the true definition of power, that it is a reality, but one must also understand the reality behind concept. Conceptuality is false within itself, but it may be used for realistic, consequential means; just as virtues are lies, yet they may be used the same.
Only by creating conceptuality, with reality, may conceptuality become a reality. Reality is the only piece that must remain, though it must be perceived as a concept. For it is only once conceptuality is realised, that reality is seen - and it is only once reality is seen, that conceptuality is realised. This is the only truth regarding the topic: all else are the creation of those seeking to prevent you from understanding truths, and those whom have lied so well, they too are stuck in shells of disenlightenment.
Consciousness of the reality in power, leads to the ignorance of conceptuality. This must not happen, lest a ruler is foolish, and will fail. A ruler must be smart, to use both conceptuality and reality, and he must be strong of will, to avoid falling into the very traps he, himself, has created. Likewise, he must be a fox to avoid the traps of others, and a wolf to slay those that would lay the traps.
Yet, in all instances, a ruler must be a mirror; an object that shows different images based upon he whom looks into it - ever changing, never remaining. A ruler must remain conceptual in the realm of reality, and real in the realm of conceptuality, else he will never climb the great ladder that is power. No man shall ever succeed, until he realises that which remains the only truth.
