Second Letter to Miss Cedwyn and Miss Ellae

*This letter is written with black ink on a not so good quality parchment which has few soup and ale stains on it*

Dear Ellae and Cedwyn,

I hope you both are well!

Rest of my journey went well. The weather was on my side and there were just few minor setbacks. I have reached my destination and my old home town. How strange it has been! It all looked the same, but yet everything is so different. I had stayed in Bree for so long that I feel more like a Breenlander than a Rohirrim, but I believe it is only natural. However I believe the feeling will wore off when I live here a bit longer. I have returned barely a week ago!

I am happy to tell you that my mother is well. Things had improved since she wrote her letters and she is now staying with her good friends. I am glad that the situation had calmed down. As you both well know it, I like to make myself useful and asked for a work in the local tavern. The tavern keeper was in need of help and thus I was hired. Imagine it Ellae, I live in a small servant room in the tavern, just like you! In many ways our lives have been very similar, do you not agree?

Cedwyn, you would love Rohan. The weather is just lovely at this time of the year, at least here in the Wold. Just as I recalled the sun shine feels warm on your cheeks but the wind can be very cold. The air is clear and you can see the mountains in the distance, should you walk outside the town. Everywhere around me I hear my own mother tongue spoken and I see my kin, no strangers walk on our streets, aside me that is. One does nothing with sheer garments in here, but wool leggings have been quite handy to have.

I hope life has been treating you both well. How have you been? What is the newest gossip in Bree-Town? Oh how I miss our talking, here I have no one to gossip with!

Well, better get back to my duties. In a moment soldiers will have their meal and I need to be there to help serving it.

With love,

Viljawyn

Ps. I shall add my current address to this letter, should you wish to write me back. It is needless to say that I really wish you would!
