Reaching Esteldin

((Captured chat in Esteldin with Eruthaiwen. ps: The writing might not be as good, as it was emoted))

Zargodon took her hand and turned her around to face him. His hands then interlocks behind her back, letting them hang easily. "Oh, I don't know, not as if you'd not have been busy. Though, I can't drag you all the way after me, always, can I?" he teased, but the question genuine

Eruthaiwen grins. "I could be persuaded, though it might be difficult." she teased back

Zargodon stood with his head resting lightly on her shoulder as he stared out along the battlements of the old ruined structures of Esteldin. The Men training in the distance caught his attention as he sighed "That just makes it so much easier for me then, doesn't it?" he half smiled

Eruthaiwen smiled. "You won't catch me complaining about it."

Zargodon chucked as he shook his head. His eyes still focused intensely on the Men down on the grounds "You think they'd be able to keep the forces of Angmar at bay?" he eventually asked what troubled his mind. The question have been plaguing him for a while now. "What if what we find is not what we hope to see. I'm worried"

Eruthaiwen let her hands slide away, resting on his chest. She stood there for a moment before turning out of his arms to stand next to him and reached for his hand. "I do not know, but I have hope." She would squeeze his hand reassuringly. " Perhaps, maybe when we come this way, we will know something that can help them."

Zargodon smiled down at her despite his dour mood. He lets his eyes pass over her to back at the Men "I hope it would at least still their grievances to some degree. It is all that we can hope. The path to Angmar would not be easy, Eruthaiwen, neither one which I would have wanted to see you in. I know of the dangers, I've been on the boarders of the desecration of the Witch King. Those lands are not meant for the living - not Men, Dwarf, neither Elda. It would have done us wise not to venture into those lands. Alas, yet, Leothross, is a great friend, and as part of my pledge to them, the order, I can't let him see struggle through the trails, and almost surely, unavoidable death" He squeezed her hand in turn. And neither can I ask you to let me go with him alone"

Eruthaiwen caressed the back of his hand with her thumb. "I know. I know you would not have me in danger, and also our reasons for coming. Even with my fear of what we may find, I'm glad you asked me to come. It may not have seemed like it when you first asked me, but after a time I was. And I also take comfort that we are not the only ones, that Mariym and Acurith are also coming."

Zargodon nods silently as he still struggled with the knowledge that he could have, it was is pure intention, to ordered her, in some way made her to say. One of the trainees fell on the ground, clutching his hand in pain.

Eruthaiwen followed his gaze. Instinctively, she wanted to help him, but she knew he would be alright. She also saw in it what she knew to be Seargilin's fear, that something might happen to her. "I will. I will both for your peace of mind and mine, lest something befall you and I am not there to help you."

Zargodon turned to face her completely, having lost interest in the duel. His eyes focus on hers, searching deep inside her endless soul. "I knew I would only leave you in Hookworth alone, distressed if I would ever return or not" What he also knew was that she would as well not live if he does depart. He knew the love that flowed between them "We need your healing here with us" he said, wanting to give her purpose. Unfortunately, that purpose is one in which he's afraid they might come of need of soon.

Eruthaiwen nods. She smiled with her usual cheery smile, trying to lift his spirits. "You needed me to complete the group. We have the man with his mission, the hunter, the warrior, and the healer in case anything should go amiss."

Zargodon affords himself a grin that bubbled up from the depths of his soul at seeing lips curl up in that smile. "Indeed we do need out healer" He simply stated. He turned to look back up at the ruined structure as new band of mercenaries, or refugees trotted through the gates. "Enough of this!" he half ordered her in his authorities voice "We need to eat something don't we?" he asked as he took her other hand in his. The leather gloves folds easily over her slender, delicate fingers. He smiled up at her "I'm sure we cant just stay standing her all day... can we?" he wanted to know, yet not making any effort to move.

Eruthaiwen giggled a little. "Well, I could, but I believe you are right, something to eat would do us good." She lifted his other hand in hers and placed a quick kiss on it, looking up at his eyes from beneath her eyelashes while she did. "What do you suggest?"

Zargodon pulls her hands behind him to bring her closer for the kiss on her lips "I guess we need to speak to the others, you're right. It's just so peaceful here after the ride from the Bree-lands"

Eruthaiwen smiled up at him as their lips parted. "I agree. Shall we then?"

Zargodon sighed one last time as they made their way back to Leothross, Acurity and Mariyn. "They must be wondering where we ran off to"

Eruthaiwen held his hand. "I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually." she said playfully

Zargodon squeezed her hand as they walked down the steps "They can wonder and wine all they like, not as if they'd be able to drag me away from some quiet time with you" he grinned
