Seeing those two together was completely unexpected. Bri decided to watch Brulk a little more before reporting what she was seeing to the Matriarch. The thought crossed her mind that perhaps Brulk had hired Lyfrid to help find the kidnappers. After all, the rune reader had a following, those that believed she really could 'see' things in those stones. But Lyfrid, as she knew from her experiences with her at the Warhorse, could be venomous. It would be best, for now, to keep in the shadows and keep watch. Brulk could be getting into things way over his head and would need someone to be watching his back, even if he didn't know it.

New Assignment
Submitted by Sybri on October 23rd, 2014

"What is he thinking," exclaimed the young woman to herself from her hiding spot near a small stone cottage. Her target was stepping out of his cottage door with the former cook right behind him. Sybri thought to herself that our Lady was right, something was off with Brulk. The Lady sensed trouble and the scout was sent to secretly keep watch on Brulk in case he'd run into trouble with his task of investigating the kidnapping of Sir Balisan. The assignment was to give him support but keep her distance to allow him to complete the important task on his own. Though the scout didn't know for fact, she did suspect the task was given to Brulk partly as a test of loyalty and competency before he was brought deeper into the secrets of the Order.
