Entry Four: Imladris Beckons
A new dawn rises and the Company begin to awaken. One did not rest well, as thoughts and memories riddled his mind. It mattered not, though as long as those of the Bloody Dawn where well rested and prepared to continue on our journey. Fiontann was nowhere to be seen, which made one’s curiosity to thicken. Leorthir returned from the hunt with breakfast. One would awake Teleyn so she would not miss out on one of the important meals of the day. One has always been somewhat protective over the girl, perhaps it was due to her child-like ways.
Fiontann would soon return to camp, alongside Rogue and another. He was introduced as Khalis, Captain to the Warband of Imladris. One would remain distant and silent, watching as the others would ask questions and have them answered. We would soon set out for Imladris, Rivendell to those of the common tongue.
Every time one has ventured to Imladris, the hills always seem to grow steeper. Perhaps it is age catching up to him. After all, one is not as young as he once was when first arriving to the Elven Realm. One was glad that Lucifan remained silent. His outburst the previous night, still made one’s blood boil. As we arrived, the sight amazed us all. Though a sight one has seen on numerous occasions, it shall never cease to amaze him.
Khalis led the company to a site where we could rest safely, within the borders of Imladris. As we stopped, many wanted to bathe in the waters and proceeded to do so. Khalis came to one as they did, to speak privately. It was the first time one was addressed by his true name for a long time...
We were welcomed and most importantly permitted to stay within the Elven Realm for the time being. One expects that we shall rest and resupply here before setting off once more. The Hall of Fire will hold its weekly gathering this night and one wonders if he shall see an old friend. Tianne Taralom has helped one with much in the past... Another debt is owed in her name...
