 | The date of this entry; January 15th, the Year 2947, of the Third Age. Recent days have been quiet. The Siege is going along, nicely; and the soldiers are content with what they have now. I returned to Eriador, several nights ago, and have remained since. But, things seem strange; Telfaras was in the house of our kin, yesterday eve; and he seemed jovial. When I asked of him; he did not answer much. He was quiet, and searching through our records. Strange, really; as when I checked what he had borrowed, it was documents detailing marriages; and gown designs. I cannot help but wonder what is happening. Telfaras has mentioned one of his companions, more than usual. One 'Gwenbur' of Rohan. It pleases me to see the friendship between the two, or hear of it; at least, for I have never met her 'afore. She sounds nice, and a true friend. Telfaras is lucky to have met her. A thought has come to mind! Telfaras speaks often of Gwenbur, and he borrowed documents of marriage. Could it be!? Is he...assisting in matrimonial ceremonies, or planning his own? I shall have to question him of it soon... Should the latter come to pass, that it is his own wedding; and to this 'Gwenbur' he speaks so much about. I shall bless the event. As Tur, it is my duty to do so. But, the consequences; he is Elf-kind, she is not... I must meditate on this, and seek reason. |
