arrival in Caras Galadhon

I was just noticing it now, but... It is really nice to be on a sort of market area to pick up supplies as needed, and even just to enjoy the moment. It made me regret to have left my lute and my flute in my bag in the guest house in Caras Galadhon. I am sure somehow that some music would not have been refused here.

Today has been long and strangely uneventful, even if one could consider our coming to the Golden Woods an event in itself. Well, considering our recent... Adventures, I don't :

Now we had steed again (and honestly I still cannot believe they made us attack that camp. That was entirely too... Well, it helped us as we got our horses, but I still don't like it) we rode to Lothlorien. I never had the opportunity to come here before.

It is a land as fair as the stories and song say, even for the small area I saw. It feels peaceful and safe there. If there was guards, and I don't doubt there was, I didn't notice them, apart from the one just outside Caras Galadhon.

Celephinnor led us there. And Telpenaro led us to a guest house while Celephinnor went to announce our presence to the lord and lady of the Golden Wood.

From what Telpenaro said, we were not the first ones from our House to come here recently. An elf named Feahelka was here with a few others. I wonder if it is good or bad news.

Curiously, Estarfin seems overly... distrustful of the Galadhrim. I'd quite like to know the reason for it but... Well, it is not really a something I feel I can ask.

Celephinnor was quick to come back to us with some news. The lord and lady will see us later, and we were free to wander around until then. Weapons were allowed but useless really, for which I am grateful and I left my own sword with my bag in the guest house.

I hope the others didn't think me rude, but as soon as we were settled and told we had time before meeting the lord and lady, I took my leave of them to go bath and change. Not seriously I considered burning the clothes I wore.

After such a long time on the road, a bath and a clean change of clothing and just... Having more than the time for it, and the opportunity to actually appreciate scented soap and oil was heavenly.

As I return to the guest quarters, I was hesitating between getting food or going and buy some healing supply first. But as I was still trying to decide, it was suggested that I go and see with healers here for more healing supply. Well, I thought nothing of it really and was sure I'd buy some food at the same time I'd buy supplies.

Yes... That was counting without my usual utter lack of priorities. Oh I got healing supplies first, alright... but now... Before the merchants... between one who provides food and one who provides sets of strings and wax for instruments...

Well... My lute is damaged and in great need of attention... And today I have the time... I think.

I just hope there was some food left in the guest residence.

However... now that I think of it... Should I try to get some supplies for lady Nirhen ? If she is still following us she might need it. Maybe I could get some food and healing supply for her. I think I will take the suggestion to Estarfin. He is the one who knows her best after all. If she is still following us or would accept the help he may know... Or have an idea on how to get it to her.

I just had to find lord Estarfin now, I guess... And to get all the supply I now had to the guest house.
