Nelnardis held a gathering in celebration of her birthday where Elisbeth, the lady and leader of the Warband, Khalis, Thendryt, and Faorie attended.
Faorie was the first to arrive. She began by congratulating Nelnardis on her special day, and not long after her arrival Khalis had made an entrance of his own.
He was dressed in elegant casual attire, which was not a normal sight to behold, but a pleasant one nevertheless.
All three spent the first few hours conversing of miscellaneous subjects including the state of Rivendell, variations of humour, Ebbephant's health, and much more. Though there was one particular subject that Faorie has brought to Khalis' attention. Thendryt.
Thendryt had been displaying strange tendencies, including evasions of questions and at times his very presence. Faorie, convinced that Thendryt was hiding something from her and the other members of her kin, sought permission from Khalis to follow him on his claimed journey to Eregion by sticking to the shadows, for there was no chance that Thendryt would approve of company.
Khalis, after careful consideration, approved of Faorie's request. It was then, as if he knew his name was the subject of conversation, that Thendryt appeared. Fortunately, he had not heard the plan, and joined the group in celebration.
Nelnardis went on to provide fresh muffins and fine wine to the company. Some time after most of the energy had begun to wear itself down, Lady Elisbeth made her entrance, displaying herself in a black, elegant robe. At the final few hours of the party, Nelnardis took the opportunity to introduce her many paintings and maps conveying the lands of Arda.
The remainder of the time the group enjoyed each others' company in friendly sessions of jest and sharing tales of adventures of past before bidding their farewells.
The night had begun to cloak the lands and Nelnardis was left content that her preparations and hosting had been a great success.
Faorie was also pleased. Pleased to know that there may be a chance to see what Thendryt was hiding, what it was that burdened him, for surely there would be answers to all the questions he's worked so hard to avoid. Time will tell.
Thendryt requests time away to Eregion.
Nelnardis encourages a banner to ride with Thendryt, to which he declines.
