Of late Tahitoa had been worried and concerned about his sister Amorey. Tahitoa was trying to be strong for her, making sure she remembered to eat all her meals , and was always happy to play music with her, or just sit quietly in a corner, smoking his pipe, ready to be there if a shoulder to cry on was needed. Tahitoa had little time to think about himself and his own life, then again his life was now dedicated to Shire Rose, his sister Amorey, and the music of Hobbit Heart. Coming to the Shire had been one of the best things Tahitoa had done in his own life, he was quite sure about that.
Tahitoa was now living back at home with his adoptive parents Gerebaldo and Lullabella in Overhill, sleeping in Amorey's old bedroom. He was happy in Overhill, with his new family , and so close to Brockenborings and Amorey. Tahitoa had met Amorey's lad on a few occasions . A hunter by trade, Tahitoa shared many interests with the lad Amorey used to call 'Pebble', Tahitoa was at first suspicious of this lad that had stolen his sister's heart, but soon came to see how happy she was , and Tahitoa was happy for her.
Tahitoa had been woken up in the middle of the night by his father the night tragedy struck by the waterfall. Amorey's lad body was never recovered from the cold , rapid waters, but Tahitoa had the sad task to gather all that was left at the camp, and bring such things back to his sister at The Plough And Stars. Tahitoa was a hobbit of few words, strong and solid, quiet as a mountain, he would support his sister through this tragic time in her life.
Tahitoa's time was dedicated to the Roses - hardworking and meticulus, Tahitoa was keeping himself busy. In the rare moments of free time, Tahitoa would sit with Halson Tubwort at The Plough and Stars, over a pint of dark ale , smoking his beloved pipe and listening to Halson talking about the latest gossip from the Four farthings. All that Tahitoa wanted was to see a smile on his sister's face again, and he promised himself to do all he could to find that smile and bring it back to her, then and only then, he was going to allow himself his own life.
