Some days ago I left Haynbury to go and live with House Bregion. When I arrived there I met Naersell, who is also called Freiyda, lord Bregion's daughter. She's a real lady, way more than I have ever been... though as much as I should have been.
She seemed a bit... bold to me, at first, but once she had a conversation with her father, who I had been introduced to by then, she understood that I wasn't the farm girl that she thought I was after all.
I was given my own quarters to stay in for as long as I live with the Bregions, I was also given this empty book I am writing in right now, a book about what my duties for the family will be, and one about Bregion's history. The history is quite interesting actually... it traces back further than I had ever thought, way further as my own family's lines.
I miss them...
Anyway, Naersell in the end appeared to be very kind, just as her father Belethui. I also met her brother Hissael, he seemed very different from them, not in a bad way though...
Naersell has gotten the task from her father to educate me in the ways of a lady, there where I wasn't properly taught yet, or there where I had... forgotten, my lessons.
My duties aren't too hard nor complicated. I help her with her hair or dresses, serve wine and fruit to the important guests, and make sure that the pages and the cooks prepare and serve the meals in time.
I miss my family... Blince pays me visits though, that's great of him.
Yes... I miss them, but I'm glad with this new life, a life that doesn't change every few weeks, a life without too much worrying about death and danger...
Oh yes, and mum's dead...
*dried out spats of tears can be clearly seen on the lower part of the page, they probably started falling after writing the last sentence*
