Blince is a once broken man. Brought up from pure sadness. Although no one would guess that, due to him always being very playful and jest-tainted. Almost always with a smirk on his face. His first family died in raid on his old village in Rohan, though he won't say where or exactly when. He is part of The Covenant of Steel, a council member. Due to him making many allies in his time residing in Bree. The Hawthorns were some of the first people he made acquaintanceship with, and has never looked back. Presently, he sports himself under the ''Retired'' title, though still does odd jobs here and there, and somewhat serves as a ''Outside-member'' for the Bloody Dawn. He is clearly a soldier, by the armor he wears and the weapons he carries. It's not that hard to assume that he's a real warrior. And people have in fact heard of his fighting abilities from the Bloody Dawn, or The Covenant of Steel.
