Background
The first Widewillows are thought to have come from lands South-East of the Bree-Lands, travelling West to work as merchants in the flourishing new terrirtories. The Widewillows quickly become a wealthy and well thought of family off the demands of the steadily increasing population of Bree and bought many leagues of land south of the town, establishing the family as a House and its lord as a Baron. In order to draw farmers to their land, the House built many homes for the nearby farmers, quickly founding the hamlet of Withchet in the heart of their land, the Baron managing the hamlet from then on.
For hundreds of years the Widewillows remained a reletively succesful House, their hamlet barely growing but its produce remaining a steady source of wealth for the family, though never gaining as much as their founders did. However, in recent days the House's wealth has plummeted, caused by the ransacking of Witchet by a band of common ruffians, which overcame the House's guard easily.
With their fortunes all but destroyed and of their workforce dead, the Widewillows must seek new help from the people of Bree-Land to regain the powere their house once had as they rebuild from the ashes of their hamlet. The Baron, Bragrad Widewillow, and his family now search for men to join their newly formed Widewillow Militia and increase the size of their workers in all areas, wherever their talents lie.
