Back to Imladris

Nier laid a hand gently over the manes of her steed to slower down their pace. Her wish was to fall back from her companions or she should have named them as her guardians. Two elven warriors, loyal to her father, have sent along with her mother to take them to Celondim. Trusted to make sure of their safe parting to the undying lands.

“It has been several months ago….” thought she elf before she has seen the suffering of the lands. And for the first time of her life time she disobeyed her father’s wish by deciding to stay. Her mother told her how naïve she is to think she could help. She told her she is no warrior and Nier just smiled softly in return. That was true that she has no use with swords but she has the knowledge of remedies, knowledge of heal… Her only wish is already not to fight but to help the suffering.

“Hiril…?” the younger elf spoke quietly and Nier turned her looks over him.

“I am sorry… I was thinking..”

Elf nodded slightly “We arrived Hiril…paused for a moment “Since now you are safe, we will continue our journey back to the golden wood and then to mirkwood Hiril..”

Nier felt his discomfort and worry. “I am sorry if I caused you trouble…”

“No Hiril… not a trouble but your father…”

She elf hold out a sealed parchment. “Please give it to my father.. He will understand..”

He elf bowed his head politely “As you wish Hiril..” and placed it carefully into a hidden pocket of his cloak before riding his steed away.

Nier waited and watched them disappearing in the distance..
