A Letter Found by the Prancing Pony

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Official Document

Dear -name is smudged-

It is with the deepest regret that i heard of this passing. Once i would have tried to avenge your wrongs but I have changed and no longer seek the thrill of battle or the glory from tournaments. I wish i could just pack up whatever ones i may call my friends and move across the sea. As the words of that old song say, "White gulls are calling from across the distant shore, and you'll be here in my arms just sleeping" I wish this was how it could be. I wish there was peace instead of this war. Why must evil thrive?

An Unexpected Discovery in Ered Luin

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It was dark, the stars glistrens in the black sky above him as they rode too the lands they called Rath Teraig. The council wanted to know what the goblins were doing there and seeing as he was at hand Zarg decided he might as well assist them, although the knights would need him shortly, and the fact that he has to look into what he can find in the Trollshaws and the movements of the occupying trolls in the area troubles him.

A Letter To My Brother: of friendship and peril

Diary

Hookworth, Bree-Land, 24th June

Dear Ravondir

This is of course no letter, and you will not read it. But I find that if I set pen to paper as though to write a diary then no words come; if I think that I am speaking to you, then all pours forth upon the page. I wish that I could unburden myself to you, as I always used in the past; but I know that you would despise me for the things I have done. This letter will not be sent, but will sit in my chest beside the others that I have written to you.

Visiting Bree after some time

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

The following is written in a calm manner

After a long time I decided to visit Bree, I spent a lot of time in the Dawnhall, looking at papers, contracts, money, recruits, archives and many more. I was doing that for a week at least and I was ready to throw all those papers in the fireplace, but, raising my head and seeing the casks I remembered the Prancing Pony... And I got there.

The Clash and Yield

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The marks upon Addiel's wrist have just begun to fade. The wire had not cut deep; her struggles against her bonds during that time had been minimal. Perhaps, she thought, because she had allowed it to happen, and that the physical bindings bore no significance to the struggles within her mind and heart.

A letter to my brother

Diary

Hookworth Village, May 13

Dear Ravondir

I do not know why I write to you, as I am sure that no post will pass the mountains, and the letters I have already written to Ada and Nana will not have reached them. But I need to write down some of what has happened to me; in truth, I would not wish you to read much of this, as I know you will think I bring shame on the family. Nevertheless, I will set it down, and decide later what to do with it.
