Chapter VII: "The Ranger and the Maiden Fair"

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The Lifescroll of Song is a compilation of folk songs and ballads compiled by minstrel Skarde from Dale, during the late reign of Eldarion, King of Gondor in IV Age. It details the common histories and legends from the Rhovanion, and is the source of history about that time. A original of the scroll was presented later to librarians from Pelargir. The copy was later taken to the great library of Erebor, and dwarven sages added some reliable parts.

The Dwarves of Othrikar swiftly gathered to meet the approaching threat. An elven huntress stood beside their archers on the walls, and Thordralin, Frimsi, and the Halfling Passerose joined the defense of the gate. All of them rallied in uncommon unity against the threat. They gathered, secure within the walls, and awaited for a command to attack.

Story

They traveled a long time, a Elf, a Dwarf and a Halfling. Through barren wastelands of Lone Lands, full of ruins from the distant past. Through green forests, wild and untamed. Human settlements seemed lively and very crowded to Linglorel, and the lands inhabited by the halflings were full of joy. Hobbits love living the simple life. It’s relaxing – who wouldn’t love that? Mortals... so dynamic and expanding. And so, they rode across the gently rolling hills, ten or twelve leagues a day.
