Mallow "Maoloy" Bunce is known as a very clumsy hobbit. She means no harm but anyhow tends to ruin everything. Unlike most hobbits, Maoloy likes boats and she even can swim (when nobody's around). Her family lives in Budgeford. Maoloy's father and brother are both hunters. They usually spend their weekends together hunting in the forests of the Shire. Maoloy's mother for her part has always tried to teach Maoloy how to cook, make some beautiful little carvings and act like a good housewife. (She gave up after half of their pigs had died and the pies made by Maoloy tasted like smoke.) For the sake of her hopelessness, Maoloy now only wanders from inn to another and dreams of Buckland.
