Elamplas' Background.

Born, Elamplas Elgarnon Edhelsael, pronounced: E-lamp-las El-gar-non Ed-hel-sale, was born in the year of 1454 in the third age, being a young elf compared to most elder ones, yet was wise and clever due to his Mother, Elearnor, she was a beautiful elf with dark brunette hair, his father, Elearnon, was a strong elf yet not as much agile, yet he had black hair like Elamplas, which was inherited. He also inherited the strength of his Father, but from where does he inherit his speed, none knows.

At the age of one-hundred he started using his fathers dagger, Calthorne, which with, he is feared, when seen, he is skilled using two blades, and is also an exceptional archer, wielding a bow crafted by a Malledhrim friend of his, named Vallorn by himself, it has a fine, curved, blade-like thing attached to the wood, which proves the weapon deadly. He also wields a sword that was gifted to him by a friend of his, that sadly passed away, this sword is one of the elven ones that glow when an enemy is near.

During his time in Imladris, he decided to help keep it's beauty, he only felt he could do this by becoming part of the guard there, and helping defend the beauty within the region known now as the "Trollshaws", he gradually showed his determination and spent many time guarding the gate of Imladris, and scouting for any evil threatening Imladris within the Trollshaws, he had been told by a Elven Traveller from Ered Luin that an orc camp had settled in the hill paths of the Trollshaws, Elamplas had to deal with this, so he took with him a group of eight, to clear the evil, they were successful but they faced many and came out wounded.

He gradually worked up, and became Captain of the Guard there, he was Captain for many years, he was mainly in charge of what all the guard did, and did not do any fighting save from protecting what evil lies beyond Imladris' border's, Elamplas helped with several things, one time they almost cleared Goblin Town but they got stuck and trapped for a week, till they finally found a way out, also Elamplas killed several Angmarim with his bare hand, as he had no weapons with him, this shows what the one can do, with what one gives; Eru. At one point he was trapped by trolls, and kept in a cage alongside a good friend of his, until they got out, thanks to the Trolls stupidity, all in all, Elamplas had done several successful deeds, but he has also failed in tasks, and other's have suffered from it, including himself, this shows that not even Elves are perfect.

When Elrond summoned him, Elamplas went straight away, Elrond wanted him to travel Eriador, and help, mainly, Mirkwood and Lorien, in their struggle. He travelled there and met most of his friends, he assisted in the fight in Mirkwood, this shows that when one, anyone, calls for aid, Elamplas will respond, and come to those in need, he treasures this as it is what helps him, and it also helps others, this shows that he will always be there for others.

Elamplas returned to Imladris, after achieving successful deeds in Mirkwood, some not so successful, yet he will treasure these successes and will also think over his failures... he will not let what he fails it bring him down, but think of the situation and think of how he can change it. Elamplas was proud of what he had done, and he will always treasure these moments, cherishing them all...

Elamplas' Parent's.

Elamplas' Father, Elearnon, was a great warden of Imladris, who patrolled the north of it, towards the misty-mountains, it was here where he was trapped by an avalanche, and almost died, due to being there for a long time, the cold and sorrow that none could help him grieved him, as he spent two months there, before he eventually came out, because of this, he fled to the Havens, ashamed of the way he had been defeated, he never told anybody save his wife, Eleanor...

Eleanor was a Scholar of Imladris, and also Elamplas' Mother, whom Elamplas loves very much, she is a wise and very, very, clever Elf, who knows much about the past and tales of Gondolin, she remains in Imladris and Elamplas visits her often, back at home. She teaches at Imladris, she teaches young Elves about the past of the Elves and the songs and tales of them. She is within the Scholar's of Imladris alongside Elrond, and is only just younger than Elrond himself, having been one of the first Elves to come to Imladris, and live there.

Nicknames/Titles/Ranks.

• Elamplas, is his common name, in the tongue of men, yet in Sindarin, he is named Hirvegil which means, sword-master.

• Light-bringer to the elves of Mirkwood, for the deeds that he accomplished there, he was granted the Light-bringer in Mirkwood.

• Master of the Horse by the Rohirrim, for being able to use the horse that they granted him within only a few mere hours.

• Silivon by the Gondorian's and the Rangers of the North, which means shimmering in Sindarin, he does not know why they call him this.

• Captain by the people and guard of Imladris, he tells them not to call him this, but call him mellon, as he is there friend more than there Captain.

  Friends, and their skills, and who they are.

  • Gwenbur - She has often, or more than often, been there for Elamplas, she is his most treasured friend, and he loves her very much. He adores that he met such a great and spectacular friend in such a place like Bree's Tavern. They have gone far and wide with each other, the furthest is Mirkwood. Elamplas will always be there for Gwenbur for she is always there for him.

    

  • Rasheke - He and Elamplas go way back, to when Elamplas helped in Mirkwood, to now when Rasheke is here in Eriador. Rasheke is a very good archer and very skilled in the hunt, they are good friends, and they have fought alongside each other many times, now they still travel with one and other, and meet each other in some of the most tense situations.

    

  • Cirdu - He is a good friend of Elamplas, saving him from a terrible back wound by a member of the Defiant Daggers, since then they have been great friends and travelled numerous places with each other, Moria, Lorien, The shire... They have also fought alongside each other, Cirdu and Elamplas are really battle-brothers.

    

  • Telfaras(deceased). - He was a good friend of Elamplas', and married to Gwenbur, sadly he died fighting in Mirkwood, this is partially why Elamplas went to help there. Elamplas misses Telfaras a lot, but not as much as Gwenbur does. Telfaras and Elamplas rarely did talk, but they were still good friends.
