Outward Appearance

Naernith is an elven maiden with hair of silver and eyes a broken blue. Her canvas is one of the average elf of Gondolin, save for the fact it is horribly torn and burned.
She stands at an average height for an elf of her kind yet seemingly weighs a meager amount for her size, although there are signs her condition is gradually improving. Her body is not becoming as slender and lean as one may expect from an elf, however; leaning moreso to the rugged and robust build of a carnivore.

Her eyes are generally considered to be unwelcoming, whether she is sneering at a stranger or offering one of her impish smiles to those she tolerates.
The aura around her is oddly unnatural, and some may take notice of a stink of death coming from her cold body.

It is rumored she bleeds black blood, but this has yet to be reliably proven.

Despite the violence her presence suggests, she does not seem to carry weapons often.
Browns and blacks seem to be her preferred colour palette, but she wears whatever is functional and available to her.

Scar description
She lacks parts of both ears, as well as a piece of her upper lip.
A thick, dark scar runs from the right side of her face to right above her eyebrow on the other side.
The right side of her face, more specifically the area below her eye, is almost entirely a burn scar. There is a smaller one on the left cheek which crosses her nose.
Multiple shorter, thinner scars are present on her face: across her left eye, across her right eyebrow, multiple lines on her left jaw, and a thin one across the corner of her mouth.

Her body is equally scarred, though notably they are mostly present on her back.
She sports many, many whip-scars on primarily her lower back, while the area between her shoulders has been overtaken by distinct thick, dark scars shaped as an eye. Within the pupil of this artwork a deep darkness dwells, sprouting from it black tendrils that fade into the rest of her flesh.
On the front there is a scar here and there, but worst of all is one thick, dark scar running down in the middle of her abdomen, from rib cage to below the belly button.

Background

Biography subject to updates as more is learned ICly.

It is said the one now named Naernith hails from Gondolin, back from when it still stood proud as she, Elennúmene, the daughter of Nórimion and Quildoloriel, of the House of the Swallow.
Many a battle she fought among her kinsmen, a foot soldier in many wars including The Last Alliance of Elves and Men. It is then she retreated to Rivendell to heal as her mother once did, only to turn her attention back to the renown of battle she so craved.

Her desires lead her to Gondor, where she would fall alongside the city of Minas Ithil, now known as Minas Morgul. Mourned briefly, then forgotten, was the archer of Gondolin, her tale ended.

Yet in Minas Morgul, and eventually Mordor, another was written; one of prisoner Girakun, later a monster dwelling Middle Earth as she pulled the leash from her fell Masters hand. Many would fall by her necromancy, even more by her brutality.

The Elves of Lothlorien stepped in to help rid her of the evil which had overtaken her mind, which she repaid with kinslaying in turn. An enemy of the Free Peoples she became, commonly named Naernith, the Horrible Sister.

In the lands of Men she would dwell for many years, receiving coin for her deeds in the name of Girakun, amassing a hoard of wealth in a now lost treasury. She was mostly known in Breeland, where she was simply Naernith the rude, alcoholic elf, her other life hidden in plain sight.

Until one day she vanished, and one can only wonder whether someone had taken up her leash, or ended the nightmare once and for all by cutting the head off with the collar.

Present day
Naernith / Girakun can be found wandering from Ered Luin to Gondor, though rarely if ever in Old Anorien or Ithilien.
She refuses to come near to Angmar, Mordor, the Morgul Vale, or places filled with the Undead or Unseen (eg. The Barrow Downs).
She seems to have no coin, work, or home, supposedly having chosen a vagabonds life.

Please don't let them see me
Sure there's nothing left to try
I can feel the light shine on my face
Did I disappoint you?
Will they still let me over
