Background
He has been a river-captain for nearly two decades, but of his life before none can claim knowledge. He is a strange man, but true to both word and honor. Having gathered the mis-matched crew of the Hithaeglir from the very dregs of Gondorian port-towns, he has and professes complete faith in them, often inspiring them to greater effort through this alone.
Though employed as a mere trading captain, Círanlin's many efforts to aid both kingdoms and men from all evil defies both common sense and any expectation those who hire him may have. None will ever know the full extent of all his many adventures, but his crew have perhaps come the closest.
