Raveyn was born in TA2994 to a single mother and brought up around Breeland. When she was younger her father would take her out into the lands for long amounts of time teaching her how to live in the wild, to find safe pathways, and some history of the various races; including the language of Elves.  He told her the importance of her heritage and the dangers of letting anyone discover  it. 

During her later teenage years her father stopped coming home as much until he didn't come back at all. Her mother was convinced he had died but Raveyn thought he had just gone to other lands to continue his duties. 

As Raveyn's mother became more heart-broken she found solice in another man and eventually had another child. Raveyn and her mother settled down with him in the village of Picklin and took up a simple village life forgetting about the world beyond their borders. Her new husband eventually became the Mayor of the village and the new responsibilities brought out a different, slightly darker side of him. It was this act that set off Raveyn's wanderlust and want to see more of the lands. She began to spend more time in Bree playing her music and hoping to meet new people who might one day join her on some adventures.
