Background

Dorvus was born into a poor family at the west area of bree, his father was a woodcutter, and his mother lacked any employment. At a young age, Dorvus had to resort to stealing produce in order to feed his family, as his father's job didn't pay much. It was a hard life, but as he went to the market one day to gather some food, his life changed forever. He tried to steal a potato, but was grabbed by the merchant, who then proceeded to beat him. After some time, a strange man in a brown hood came to the scene, "leave the kid alone, or else..." said the man. The merchant let go of Dorvus in shock and backed away, "oh, i'm so sorry, i didn't know he was one of yours, Bill, i don't want to mess with the Blackhand society, forgive me!". Bill, the stranger, called for Dorvus to follow him, they headed for a back alley and Dorvus had thanked him, he was able to get out alive, and with the produce. The man taken off his hood, revealing a medium black beard, "you are most welcome, but now...you owe me" said Bill. It was from this day on, that Dorvus had joined the Blackhand society, secretly pretending that his income was from a part time job at a local smith. As Dorvus Grew, his influence among the Society, and his friendship with Bill also grew, at around the age 19, Dorvus had been officially elected as Bill's right hand man. The family eventually became richer, due to Dorvus's contributions , but nothing lasts forever, Corvus's mother was one day captured and enslaved, his father tried to rescue her, but ended up getting shot down by the bandits that had done it. Dorvus had no interests in relationships, was no fan of kids, and found "Love" to be fully pathetic, yet he valued loyality among friends greatly, and the Society provided. The society spent years working in the shadows, an invisible, yet powerful organization, as Bill died of old age, he gave his command to Dorvus, who led the group till he was 23 years old. At that time, the Society fallen apart due to fighting over how it should be led, and Dorvus was forced to follow his life of crime alone. He had mastered all it takes to wield a blade, and besides stealing and pickpocketing, had also become a freelance Fence, selling stolen items that most merchants would refuse, as well as do a part time job as an information broker, giving people information about other people and organizations. Deep inside, though, his calling was mainly that of a master thief, he knew the trade well, and he enjoyed every bit.
