Background
Aiska (24 years old) is Lossoth, from Forochel, and she grew up in Suri-kyla. She speaks Westron, but with a very strong accent, and is better in understanding Westron, than always finding the right words.
After King Arvedui of Arnor in the year 1975 of the Third Age ended stranded in Forochel (fleeing from Arthedain, conquered and destroyed by the forces of the Witchking), one of his warriors fell in love with a Lossoth maiden. A child was fathered, but the warrior himself had to leave and follow his king, as it turned out, into ruin. The ship sank, but before the warrior was forced to abandon the woman he had come to love, he gave her a highly ornamented sword, beautiful in both, blade and hilt.
Aiska is a descendent of this union, and the sword was handed down from generation to generation, to honour the memory of the warrior, who had become part of their ancestral line. However, her people were generally rather afraid of the sword, and none in her family ever wished to wield it.
Roughly 4 years ago (in relation to her story), Aiska began to have dreams. She saw a lidless eye, aflame, and felt a strong wish to fight against this obvious terror, despite the great fear it instilled in her. Due to this she began to secretly train with the sword, which she has named 'Joik of the Warrior Father'. She believes her ancestor, the great warrior, or maybe even the blade itself, are urging her to travel to the lands, the warrior originally hailed from.
And probably even beyond, to find the lidless eye, and to grant aid to those battling the terror...
She journeys together with her dog Nashoba, surviving on what they hunt and find otherwise edible in the wild. After having grown up in the extreme harsh environment of Forochel, most of Middle Earth strikes her as a paradise of abundance. She is also rather smart and certainly curious, but her upbringing among people used to a very simple lifestyle, can find reflection in her mindset.
Friendlier than most of her people, but usually quiet and observant.
