Background
OF FRAMGAST, THE RIDER
CHAPTER 1 : BOYHOOD
Deorlaf of Grimslade was a renowned horsebreeder and a rider in the Éored of Westfold. He married with Freda who is the well-beloved daughter of Léofmund, a captain in Hornburg. Deorlaf and Freda had two sons, Háma and Framgast. Háma was by three years the elder. Brawling, riding horses, and doing some little escapades by leaving the city, they were highly attached to eachother. One day, Háma fell ill. Healers couldn't help him and he died of some uncertain reasons, assumed to be poisoned by a wild plant. Having lost his brother at six, Framgast had lost his game partner, and he became talking less.
At the age 9, his bonding with a horse was celebrated. For a Rohirrim a horse is not simply a nameless animal used for travelling but a dear companion, held in high regard and cared for lovingly. Most Rohirrim, knowing the importance of their horses and that they may one day be saved by them, highly valued the companionship with their steeds and strive to form a deep bond. 'Forwyrd' was the name of this new companion, a black stallion with rather muscled bulk. From now on, Framgast spent great majority of his time with Forwyrd. and somehow he had a bond with this stallion, similar to one he had with his brother. He rode along the plains of the Mark all day, coming home late and not coming sometimes. He was free with an unfettered soul.
CHAPTER 2 : MANHOOD
Almost becoming a grown man, at his 17 he was an expert with riding. His companion also, grew in age. For him, days were passing hastily. He hardly could have free time for himself, dealing with the horse herds during the day and training with swords with his father rest of the time.
The time he'd lose another one he loved came. His father marched east with a patrol to repel the Dunlending reavers who were attacking a nearby village. They repelled the forces, and saved some of the village folk, but Deorlaf did not return. This was another downfall for young Framgast. Having lost his father, now he was the only man of the family. He took all the duties to his arms and sustained his father's job, the horsebreeding, and became an éomaegister in several years. Though he could not continue more than two years, as the dark days were coming. Waving threats of the orcs and Dunlendings were so harsh that they had to leave Grimslade with his mother Freda to join his uncle Féondulf who was dwelling in Hornburg, the largest fortress of Rohan. A rather strange man his uncle was. Despite his mother's warnings, he took Framgast out and taught him to fight on horse back. He also took him into several patrol rides on dangerous paths and ambushed their foes even If they were few in number. Framgast, began to take pleasure from killing just like the other true sons of Eorl the Young. He mostly used spears and was skilled at throwing them.
CHAPTER 3 : THE RIDER
Years passed, Son of Deorlaf became a Rider of the Mark and joined in the éored of the Wold. His twenty years companion Forwyrd also became a fullgrown warhorse. They fought together and planted fear into minds of the enemy, not knowing what Wyrd, their fates would bring them.
