Puki comes from a very wealthy and respected family of horse breeders from Oatbarton. She grew up on her father's farm and learned to ride before she could even walk properly.  Since very early on  in her life Puki  could be found roaming free on horse back  in fields and forests.

Learning letters and numbers was not Puki's idea of fun. Any type of committed situation, including learning, sent her running for the hills. Puki loved her freedom and needed adventures, she desired nothing better then to tap into the unknown. Her vigor and untamed spirit cames from her father's side of the family.

Puki could be found often in the company of other young hobbits from Oatbarton , spending time playing traditional local music and jesting around the fields and farms with her friends. Her love  for excitement and action made her travel to The Shire first, then onto Bree town. So passionate about  her feelings, she always take a stand in a  good or bad situation. While in the Shire she met a hobbit named yule chief of a very secretive kinship called Shire Rose and was offered the job of looking after the kin's horses and stables.
