You see before you a dwarf well past his best years but strongly built and agile on his feet. His fearsome appearance is softened by the twinkle in his eye; you perceive here is a dwarf that has experienced much and understood more. A closer insepction reveals the remnants of terrible injury: he walks with a rolling gait and his shield-arm is noticebaly foreshortened. Whatever the causes were, he does well to hide them.
