| Outward Appearance | Khaldun is a grim faced Dwarf from Thorins Hall. When on duty within the Hall of kings he is usually found close to Dwalin clad in his ceremonial armour wrought in the finest gold. When out on active duty protecting the Dwarven lands he wears a more practical armour of thick black Dwarvern Iron. With him he carries the might Warhammer "Kibiluzn" (Khuzdul - Silver Shadow)

Background
Khaldun is a grim faced Dwarf warrior under the service of Dwalin, Son of Fundin, Brother of Balin
Khaldun earned the name Gathol (khuzdul - Fortress) after he succeeded in holding back over a Hundred orcs in a tunnel deep beneath his kins halls.
Armed with only his trusty shield and a spear Khaldun used the small passages to his advatage to keep back the oncoming Orcs till help could arrive.
For many years he has instructed the younger Dwarves in the art of tunnel warfare and the sight of him charging into battle has often been more than enough to send the foe running.
