Edhelmein was born the only daughter of a lone fisherman and his wife, in the early morning hours. Dawn was rising as her father held her. She was tiny, light with a head full of dark curls...

She grew up an only daughter though, well.. she did have a friend. Vintarion! He was always there to help her. Though he was only a few years older than her.. Maybe ten at most. Had always been there until her ran into trouble! He left when she was about seven, very suddenly. Edhel was on her own. With her mother and father.

Ten, slow years went by, and Edhel turned into a young woman. A skilled fisherWOMAN at that. Making her father ever so proud.
