When asked he will say he hails from Rohan. Yet he will not easily talk about himself nor his background. People do not often see him as he prefers to work at night. Aemric has served as a scout and tracker in Rohan for years. His experience as a scout learned him to be patient and move silently at night. Most trolls, orcs and other vile things make their move after dusk. He usually manages to warn a town before the enemy would strike. Besides that he is also usually paid to find missing people. After years his eyes and hearing at night has improved above average.

He is not eager to fight, yet he is able to defend himself in tight situations or kill unwary orcs in the dark. His weapons of choice are the sword, dagger and javelin. People sometimes doubt his intentions and even speak ill of him, maybe for good reason.

(After his replacement he was not seen again, is he dead? Is he missing? Nobody knows and nobody cares.)
