Background
Halagrim was born in Hobbiton-Bywater as son of a farmer and a waitress from the local inn.
He has taken up his fathers profession as a farmer, and can often be seen at the fields north of Hobbiton where he grows his crops. When farming is off-season, he jobs a bit as a forester, walking the few woods of the Shire to find wood suited for craftsmanship.
From time to time he goes to the market to sell his produce, but lately not many market days have taken place in the Shire.
Therefore he is considering travelling all the way to Bree, hoping to find a big marketplace, bristling with customers.
He is quite adventurous, for a Hobbit, and travels around the Shire now and then, doing his duties as a Bounder-volunteer, helping his fellow hobbits. Once he even fought off a wolf!!
