Ganiago’s first few days out in the wide world proved rather uneventful. The finest provisions available for purchase in Archet filled his pack, promising that many future days of exploration would pass on a full belly. Strolling merrily along with his walking stick, and with nothing besides that and a small dagger to protect himself with, Ganiago whistled as he wandered under the branches of Chetwood.

Moisture. Moisture is all he could feel, as if it draped him in a blanket. He stood tall, frozen inside a dark cloud. Eternities… that’s what it felt like. Again and again, the dream came to him, plaguing him every night for the past fortnight. It had always been the same… but this time, he could feel more. His arms remained down at his side, even as he willed them to move; to do something. But he couldn’t. He once more, began to let himself sink back into the dream… until his body moved.

MELODY

On the road between ALDBURG and EDORAS, ROHAN  June T.A. 3011

The door slowly creaks open to the dimly-lit room. A man steps in, ducking slightly under the low door, water dripping from the sodden cloak pulled tight around his shoulders. He turns, pulling a battered staff in behind him as he throws the door shut.

Silence at last.

He leans the staff into the corner almost reverently, taking care not to damage it. Gently, he shrugs the cloak from his shoulders and hangs it on the wall. Drips begin to roll down the wall.

These last weeks have been... strange, to say the least.
