Kivnir

Rín, Níra, or Captain Kiv, depending.
Status:
Active
Race:
Dwarf
Background:

As a rule, Dwarves are afraid of the sea. The ocean's sound is unfamiliar, the boats unstable, and the water unpredictable as compared to solid mountain stone. It is the ineffable deep that they cannot delve nor understand -- it is too vast and too unwieldy.

The Courier Part 2

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Asmalinde sat in a chair in front of the great fireplace in the Hall of Fire in Imladris. She slouched backwards, legs stretched out as she enjoyed the warmth of the fire and the ethereal, timeless joy of the hall. Her journey from Mithlond had been swift. She had parted from the southern bank of the Gulf of Lhun twenty days before. Asmalinde journeyed through the wilderness. Tall trees and hilly crags blocked the old path travelers had abandoned.

Taking Flight

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Heavy fog swirled around the small boat as it moved noiselessly across the Bay, the silent crew plying their oars through the dark, glassy waters. They'd been paid to carry him back to Dol Amroth and no questions asked.

That was well, for he already had so many questions to ask of himself.

Material Things

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

There are many things that I love and have loved in this life.

One would be wine. I know not where I would be without this drink. Would I still be here? Probably not. It has seen me through the worst and best moments of my life.  Whether the color be red, white or anything in between. I wish for it all of the time.

Another would be books. Reading has always been my first love. There is little that can soothe me more than the knowledge gained through studying and perusing a large selection of books.
