Background
By authority of the mayorship of Bree,
Letter of Marque and Reprisal
The condition of this recognizance is such that Master Sagramore, son of Folcred, has been given the right to raise a militia with the help of the good folk in the town of Bree and the villages of Archet, Combe and Trestlebridge.
By virtue of this commission, the formed company - which will be known as The Free Company - is to recruit, train men of arms and move against each and any of those that threaten the life and the belongings of the good folk of the Bree Lands.
The said Sir Sagramore, with his armed men and other necessaries for war put in the service of the lordship of Bree and in defence of the realm, may use any and all means to fulfill this task within the known borders of the Bree-Land.
Likewise will not attempt anything against any of the locals of the aforementioned towns and villages in the Bree-Lands, but only against the said poachers, bandits, and southerners that plague the realm.
By virtue of the said commission, The Free Company as a whole and its men as individuals are to be held responsible only by the council of Bree and answer to none, except to their honor, their code of conduct and his lordship Mayor Graeme Tenderlarch of Bree.

We are a young, Man-only, medium RP kinship, organised as a company of conscripts and volunteers. Our area of activity is - at the moment - the Bree Lands.
We are a military kinship, but we do not expect our recruits to abide by the military code all day, every day. Uniforms will be provided, and will be used during events.
Among the RP events we will run are drills, parades, tavern nights, patrols, one or two illegal boxing matches in a basement somewhere and even bootlegging, if we fancy. We exist by virtue of a letter of marque and reprisal, but we are "Free".
Non-RP events will be completing deeds, instances and skirmishes.
In the end, our aim is solely to have fun, enjoy the game and accomplish this in a friendly and helpful environment.
