Sharpe was only young when his mother died, and with her passing the weight of the world seemed to fall upon his shoulders. His three younger brothers looked to him for guidance, and though fear gnawed at him each night, he refused to falter. Frightened yet resolute, he vowed that no matter the cost, he would keep them safe, even if the burden threatened to break him.
