A farmer's third son, Kei spent the first sixteen years of his life in the Dales. In his father's farm working alongside with his two brothers he knew no other life than the one such simple joys had to offer. All such came to an end when one day his father's farm was raided by bandits. His parents dead and his brothers taking away as prisoners to be sold at Rhun as servants; Kei was left for dead. When he came about and after realising the tragedy that had befallen his family he wandered the nearby roads lost as if asking for death to come back and claim him along with the rest of his relatives. Death sent no emissary though luck did so and it was in the form of a Bard. The Bard took the boy in and taught him of the sword and the lute alike.10 Years passed as the two travelled and though all physical injuries had mended, Kei's mind was fixed on avenging his family's passing. Devoting his life in the tracking down of the bandits responsible he travelled the Dales for months searching for the faces he remembered from his childhood. One by one those that he remembered he found and killed. And once the last one was dealt with the Man, no longer a boy, took a travel to the West and to the town of Bree. A rowdy town as he had come to understand it be, full of criminals and shady folk. It was in such a time that a woman named Narriko found and helped him train initially before sending him to an Elf by the name of Auraya. Through hardship and merciless tutoring often accompanied with pain or worse for his failures, Kei grew to understand the value of striking from the shadows. Never having been a muscular Man he trained on his agility and intellect instead with his Elf tutor molding him into an able Poisoner and Assassin. Up to this day Kei remains in Bree. Having worked for various organisations he simply seems to have retired from such auditious acts, the Man seems to try for a clean start in his life.
